A quality composite door typically lasts 25 to 35 years with minimal maintenance. The GRP skin is colour-stable and weather-resistant, so it won’t fade, crack or warp over time — your door should look as good in ten years as it does on installation day.
Replacement external doors are covered by Building Regulations and must meet current thermal standards. Where the door is more than 50% glazed, we can self-certify the installation through FENSA (#34055), so you get a compliance certificate without dealing with the council.
